Summarize his ideas concerning the Collective Forces, the Emergence of New Personalities, and the Exaltation of Patriotism.  Then read Karl Gorzel’s letter describing the Battle of the Somme (page 638). How are Gustave Le Bon’s ideas reflected in this letter?
